The 2010 Wayland Agricultural Show will be held on Sunday 1st August 2010 at Brandon Road, Watton, Norfolk. Gates open at 10 am
IT IS A GREAT DAY OUT FOR ALL THE FAMILY AND ALL PROFITS GO TO LOCAL CHARITIES.
The Show is one of the oldest one-day Agricultural Shows shows in the country, now in its 137th year. Below are a few of the 2010 attractions.
THE FULL MAIN ARENA PROGRAM IS ON THE HOME PAGE.
The Main Arena program will include the exciting Jive Pony Show. The Bob Hogg Sheepdog Show as well as Cyril the Squirel,The West Norfolk Foxhounds,Vintage Cars & Tractors, Norfolk Gundogs, and a Grand Parade of Cattle,Sheep,Pigs and Horses.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING AVAILABLE FOR THE EXPERIENCED AND THE NOVICE.
The well attended livestock competitions, which has increased in size ever year, is aways popular with young and old, so why not watch the cattle, pig or sheep judging. You could gently meander through the Arts, Crafts and Countryside marquee. The weavers and spinners will have their hands very busy, displaying their techniques and making good use of the wool from some of the sheep competing, elsewhere on the showground.
Sheep Dog Trials will be held on the field next to the show grounds.
Anybody equestrian minded can admire everything from miniature horses right up to shire horses - what a comparison in size!
Watch the world famous Sheep Show, compered by New Zealanders Richard Savory and Stuart Barnes. Wool is the main emphasis and the show demonstrates how wool provided the money to build many of our fine Norfolk Churches. See the different breeds and the sheep shearing.
After a busy morning at the show, you could always enjoy a cold beer overlooking the main ring or feast on the many food outlets located around the showground to help you to recharge your batteries, before taking in the rest of the attractions in the afternoon.
Dont forget to look at the steam engines, including the Brandon District Mini Steam Engines, vintage tractors and classic cars, which will all be on display throughout the day.
While the children watch the Punch & Judy show. sit and enjoy the many events in the Main Arena.
Also for the children there will be FACE PAINTING, BALLOON MODELLING AND THE FUN FAIR.

Entry to the Show
Entry prices are: Adults £8, Children £3 (5 - 16 ) (under 5s free) and OAPs £6. FAMILY TICKET 2 ADULTS+2CHILDREN £20. (Tickets available from The Village Florist,Watton before the show)
Car parking is free.
