As President, I am proud to say that the hard working committee has another excellent show planned for this year which showcases all that the wonderful county of Norfolk has to offer.
I am also delighted to report that our annual Spring Ball raised over £12,000 for Norfolk’s Big C charity.
I would also like to thank all our Sponsors, Supporters and Members for their continued support of this fantastic show. The Wayland Show is one of the oldest one-day shows in the country – have a look at our history page which demonstrates how important it is that we keep our rural traditions alive.

Volunteers invited to the Wayland Show’s AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Wayland Agricultural Society CIC, the committee of volunteers who organise the Wayland Show and the Wayland Ball each year, is being held at Broom Hall Hotel at 7.45pm on Tuesday 13th October.
This will be followed by a finger buffet and anyone who is interested in finding out more about the committee, or who may be interested in joining or helping with any aspect of the Show is invited to attend.
This year’s Wayland Show on 2nd August, saw thousands enjoying the many different breeds of livestock and the other attractions in and around the main ring, and we would like to thank our many visitors, sponsors and helpers for their continued support.

What did you see and do at our 2015 Show?
Our highly successful and traditional agricultural and rural show continues to get better each year. For our 2015 show you were able to get close to all the livestock that are competing on the day, and in addition enjoy the ever-growing equestrian sections, not to mention lots of entertainment in the main ring (and above it!) with all the exhibitors and shopping opportunities you could imagine. A day’s enjoyment for visitors of all ages, whatever your interests!
New for 2015 were Bolddog Lings Honda’s official UK Stunt Team and the UK’s number one Freestyle Motocross Display Team; family entertainment at its thrilling best – the British Scurry & Trials Driving which finished in the main ring to find the Wayland Scurry Trials Champion for 2015; a new Health and Wellbeing Marquee, plus The Dunston Harriers. Show Champion of Champions. Our unique end-of-show competition between the champion pig, horse, sheep, rabbit, cattle and fowl receives the Norman Sculfer Memorial silver salver, plus £250 kindly sponsored by Wayland Farms Limited. The 2015 Champion of Champions prize was won by Hope, a Lincoln Red owned by Emerson and Loveday.
