Wayland Agricultural Show

Welcome to the 2016 Wayland Show and thank you for coming and supporting the Show. Thank you also to our Sponsors, Supporters and Members, as their continued support is essential.

It is a personal regret that I, together with the committee, have cancelled the cattle classes due to ongoing TB restrictions as I was unable to take the risk to my own herd of cattle, but I sincerely hope that they are back with us next year.

The committee has worked very hard to bring a full programme for you all to enjoy and to continue to promote Norfolk and all it has to offer. If you have any ideas on how you think we can improve the Show, I welcome your suggestions.

We also held a very successful Spring Ball in April which raised £14,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society, including £2,000 which was match-funded by Barclays Bank.

I hope you have an enjoyable day and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

We would like to thank all of our auction lot and tombola contributors, our generous guests, our sponsors and Barclays.

What is planned for our 2016 Show?

For our 2016 show, gates will be open from 9am to 5pm, which is an hour longer than in previous years. This provides more time to enjoy yourselves and even better value too!

Our highly successful and traditional agricultural and rural show continues to get better each year. You will able to get close to all the livestock that are competing on the day, and in addition enjoy the ever-growing equestrian sections, not to mention lots of entertainment in the main ring with all the exhibitors and shopping opportunities you could imagine. A day’s enjoyment for visitors of all ages, whatever your interests!
NEW for 2016 – Have a go at judging! More information here.

Just a taste of what’s in the main ring and on the show ground for 2016…
