WE ARE PLEASED TO CONFIRM THAT £10,000 RAISED FROM THE 2009 ANNUAL DINNER DANCE HAS BEEN PRESENTED TO MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT.

THE 2009 WAYLAND SHOW IS ACCLAIMED,IN THE PRESS AND BY MANY OF THOSE ATTENDING , AS THE BEST EVER. THE WEATHER WAS GOOD, POSSIBLY THE LARGEST PUBLIC ATTENDANCE EVER . AN INCREASE IN CATTLE,SHEEP AND PIG NUMBERS.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT
MAIN ARENA PROGRAM
We are pleased that at the 2010 Show we have two New Acts planned for the Main Arena.
Firstly the exciting Jive Pony. This unique show,with vaulting,dancing,acting ,costum changes and a large dose of humour, has the lot !
Lots of skill and wonderful horsemanship.
We are also looking forward to having THE BOB HOGG SHEEPDOG SHOW. A fabulous demonstration of man and animal working together.
ALSO NEW FOR 2010. A LIFESTYLE MARQUEE
“Plans are well underway for a brand new marquee for the 2010 Wayland Show. Attractions planned in the “Lifestyle Marquee” are a fashion show, cookery demonstrations, flowers, hair and beauty, fashion accessories and lifestyle exhibition stands and a stunning dance performance all going on whilst you relax with tea and scones or coffee and cakes in our Cafe. Everyone very welcome.

Equestrian Section at the Wayland Show
With in-hand and ridden classes, the show is a chance to see some of our best local show horses. See Livestock Page for schedules etc.
Volunteers
We are looking for new committee members to join the Wayland Agricultural Society. Can you can spare one evening a month? Or maybe you’d just like to be a helper during the Show. We have a most active and friendly committee, but many hands make light work.
