Norfolk’s best one-day event that everyone is talking about.
The 2013 Wayland Show will be our 140th and we’re planning a wonderful day’s entertainment for all the family.
We were overwhelmed by your support following last year’s forced cancellation, and we are determined to continue and produce a show with agricultural and rural tradition at its core.
Please come along and help us make the 140th show truly memorable.
President of the Wayland Agricultural Society
The AGM of the Wayland Agricultural Society CIC was held on 8th October 2013 and was followed by a finger buffet. This gave us the opportunity to thank our supporters, sponsors, members, exhibitors, visitors and spouses (who, when we are busy, ‘lose’ us from time to time) as without their continued support our Show would not exist.
We received very positive feedback and some useful suggestions that will be put to the committee at our next meeting. We trust that all who attended enjoyed themselves.
The 140th Wayland Show was held on Sunday 4th August 2013 and, as you will see from this and other pages on our website, we had a wonderful, traditional (and sunny) agricultural show with ‘all the trimmings’.
A big thank you to all our visitors, competitors, members, sponsors, judges, stewards, tradestands and numerous helpers who all helped to make the day so memorable and successful.
Competition results are available on our ‘Show Results‘ page and we have added many great pictures to our Wayland Show 2013 photo gallery pages. You may also be interested to see what some of the media have been saying about the Show here:-
