Welcome, and thank you for coming and supporting the 2016 Wayland Show. Thank you also to our Sponsors, Supporters and Members, as their continued support is essential.
It is a personal regret that I, together with the committee, had to cancel the cattle classes due to ongoing TB restrictions as I was unable to take the risk to my own herd of cattle, but I sincerely hope that they are back with us next year.
The committee worked very hard to bring a full programme for you all to enjoy and to continue to promote Norfolk and all it has to offer. If you have any ideas on how you think we can improve the Show, I welcome your suggestions.
We also held a very successful Spring Ball in April which raised £14,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society, including £2,000 which was match-funded by Barclays Bank.
I hope you had an enjoyable day and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
